Jonathan is a trainee solicitor at Reed Smith, where he is a member of the firm's PRISM network, which was influential in winning the firm a place on the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index two years running. He is also a member of the LEARDS committee, supporting disabled lawyers.
Jonathan is co-founder of the London Bisexual Network, the first professional network aimed at tackling bi issues such as visibility and poorer rates of mental health and wellbeing. Intersectionality is very important to Jonathan and he also advocates on disability, being a member of the Westminster Autism Commission and sits on the expert advisory group to the Health and Work and Pensions Secretaries in Cabinet. He is a member of the Law Society Equality Board, and is also involved in several social mobility initiatives.
He has worked with international bodies such as the Commonwealth and Council of Europe on disability and LGBT advocacy. He has also won several awards for his work; these include Entrepreneur of the Year at the World Autism Awards 2017, Campaigner of the Year at the European Diversity Awards 2016, and a pan-Commonwealth Queen's Young Leader. He is a trustee at national charity Ambitious about Autism and featured on the OUTstanding 2017 Future Leaders List.
