Ella- Hall began her career in Media Sales at AOL Time Warner, in the 1990’s and progressed into senior marketing roles within: Aviva, The Open University, News International and The Gym Group. She is currently leading a commercial marketing digital transition project at the RCA and supporting a number of FMCG organisations, including Sainsburys, GSK, Yorkshire Tea and various Media Agencies to support LGBTQI inclusion in advertising. She was until recently a Board Director at Outvertisng.
Ella is trans, she transitioned many years ago, while working in media. Ella has not until 2020 been ‘out’ about her birth gender at all, finding it safer to live in what is known as ‘Stealth’ ( Trans person living as Cis) recent societal changes and some self reflection have led to her feeling more comfortable in talking about her experience, which is extensive as she has presented as male and female within her 25 year career in media and marketing
