COVID-19 Policies

We follow London Business School’s policies, which are set by the UK government.

Vaccination is not required to attend EUROUT. However, all attendees will be asked to show a negative test or proof of full vaccination upon arrival.

For those arriving from outside the UK, the test use to travel will be sufficient. For those within the UK, please use an NHS self-testing kit or see a provider.

Please note: sponsor sites and non-EUROUT venues may have different requirements. Please see below FAQs on expectations and requirements.

We will have tests available for anyone unable to test before arriving or who wishes to double check their COVID status. Anyone with a positive test will be asked to leave the conference.

We also expect attendees to wear masks while indoors and we will provide masks to anyone who needs one.

We ask all conference attendees to reduce the risk of transmission by following these COVID policies.  We cannot guarantee a COVID-free event, please consider your personal situation before attending.

See FAQ’s below for more information.

Food & Beverages

We will provide breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks throughout the conference on 19 and 20 November.

Catering will be provided by London Business School’s catering team. The menu is still being set, but please email us at eurout@london.edu if you have any concerns.

The following events will be held at off-site venues, where separate sign-ups are required (please sign-up HERE).

Frequently Asked Questions

Can EUROUT Help Organise Travel Visas?
Unfortunately, we cannot organise travel visas. If you require a visa for travel into the United Kingdom, you will have to apply for a visa to enter the UK from your location.

What kind of COVID tests are acceptable for Day 2 testing (entering the UK from Green List Countries)?
The latest guidance from the UK government to travel to England can be viewed here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/travel-to-england-from-another-country-during-coronavirus-covid-19

For those traveling from outside the UK, Day 2 tests now include lateral flow tests, as well as PCR tests. Lateral flow tests tend to be more economical. Please note that you can only organise this test through an approved provider – you can easily find them here:

The finder now allows you to filter your results for lateral flow providers – this typically costs between £20-25. You will need to organise this prior to your departure to theUK as you will be asked for your confirmation number in the passenger locator form that you need to fill up in the 48 hours before you arrive. Remember, these rules apply to England only (where London is within) but if you choose to travel and enter the UK through Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland – the rules may be different. Another site, but please note this is not an official government website, that can be helpful to compare prices and quality of service is this: https://www.covid19-testing.org/travel-testing.

This is a third-party site, so information cannot be guaranteed. As always, rules regarding travel and requirements constantly change in the face of the pandemic, so please always check the information prior to travelling to avoid any confusion. Please note that information about travel and Covid-19 testing requirements to enter the UK in this page are provided without any liability on EUROUT, its organisers or London Business School, as we expect attendees to be responsible for their own arrangements on travelling to London/the UK.

Will I have to wear a mask?
Masks will be required while attending any EUROUT event, with exceptions for brief periods when actively eating or drinking.

What does“fully vaccinated” mean?
We are following NHS guidelines which state you are fully vaccinated two weeks after your second dose of a two-dose series or two weeks after your single-dose vaccine. For the purposes of attending the EUROUT Conference, one is considered fully vaccinated if they received their final vaccination on or before November 6, 2021. We do not require our attendees to be fully vaccinated.

What happens if I forget (or lose) my mask?
EUROUT will make masks available for attendees and partners who do not have their own.

Do the masking guidelines apply to presenters and EUROUT staff?
Yes. Presenters, Organisers, and anyone else in the venue for the EUROUT Conference are subject to these guidelines.

What are the COVID testing and masking requirements at off-site non-conference venue locations, for example at off-site social events?
With the exception of the Pre-EUROUT Drinks Reception presented by Salesforce event (please see important information for this below if you are attending this event), all attendees are expected to adhere to current local regulations and venue requirements as requested at entry. As these social events involve active eating and drinking, we do not expect attendees to be wearing masks for the most part of these off-site events. However, we encourage attendees to be vigilant and sensible on taking precautions to minimise any potential spread of COVID.

For attendees signed up to attend the Pre-EUROUT Drinks Reception presented by Salesforce event, in addition to the above, current policy at Salesforce's London offices where the event will be hosted require that attendees are fully vaccinated with proof of vaccination or proof of negative PCR/rapid lateral flow test to be shown upon arrival at event registration. The preferred proof of vaccination/negative test for those based or received their vaccinations in the UK will be the digital NHS COVID Pass. Full information on how to get the digital NHS COVID pass can be accessed
at: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/get-digital-covid-pass/. For attendees without the digital NHS COVID Pass, those attending from outside the UK or had tests/vaccinations taken outside the UK, please ensure you have an equivalent pass/records to show from an equivalent authority abroad. If you are not fully vaccinated and want to rely on your negative PCR/rapid lateral flow test results, you may use the test result (with appropriate documentation) for when you used to travel to the UK (for example, Day 2 test), so long that the test was taken within 48 hours prior to the event (19:00 on Thursday 18 November 2021) and you have appropriate documentation to show a negative result. The organisers may have to decline entry where we are unable to ascertain your proof of vaccination or negative test in line with Salesforce's building entry policy.

Are exhibitors, presenters and attendees screened for signs of illness?
Attendees, Partners and Presenters are recommended to test themselves 24 hours prior to the event. They are asked to self-monitor their health while attending the event. Lateral flow tests, masks and hand sanitiser will be available at the registration desk if needed, and hand sanitising stations are provided throughout the conference space.

What if I feel unwell leading up to the conference?
Please do not come to the conference if you develop symptoms associated with COVID-19, which include fever, cough, shortness of breath, among others. Your conference registration will allow you to attend livestream and on-demand sessions online even if you are in London, so you can participate that way any time you feel you need a break.

What precautions are taken for convention education sessions?
Surfaces will be cleaned with soap and water or a disinfectant prior to the start of each event. We will rigorously conduct contact tracing & notify all impacted parties should any attendees test positive during or in the 10 days after the event.

What if someone who attended the EUROUT Conference is later positive for COVID-19?
In-person attendees, partners and presenters agree to contact EUROUT team at eurout@london.edu if experiencing symptoms or testing positive for COVID-19 within 10 days of attending EUROUT’s 2021 Conference. EUROUT is committed to protecting your privacy and will work with state officials to do contact tracing procedures.
